Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join the Buswells Lodge Primary School community. Serving one of the most disadvantaged communities in Leicester, you will play a vital role in helping families overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing. By building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, you will support attendance, engagement, family resilience and access to services, helping children thrive both in school and at home. This is an incredibly rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference to the lives of children and families every day. Visits to the school to meet with the Headteacher are highly recommended and can be arranged via the School Office.Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.0.00 am until 4.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am until 3.30 pm ( 30 minute lunch break) 39 weeks per yearSalary Grade 6 Points 15-18 £27,669 - £29,717 paClosing date: Friday 18th September 2026Interview date (provisional): Wednesday 23rd September 2026Start date: As soon as possible
