Location: Exeter HQ / Exeter & North Devon Airbases / Some cross-departmental working

Duration: 12 month fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover)

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the clinical education, professional development and operational management of our HEMS

clinical team. Working closely with the Associate Clinical Director and Clinical Leadership Team, you will oversee the

multidisciplinary education programme, support and develop our clinical workforce, managing rostering and compliance, and turn

learning from governance, incidents and audits into meaningful service improvements. You will also lead our emergency preparedness

arrangements and help maintain the exceptional standards of safety and care for which Devon Air Ambulance is known.  

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced, registered healthcare professional with a strong background in pre-hospital, critical or

emergency care, alongside proven experience in clinical education and people management. You will be a compassionate and inclusive

leader, able to communicate sensitively, make sound decisions and balance a range of educational, workforce and operational

priorities. Strong knowledge of clinical governance, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing

and development of others will be essential.  

THE PACKAGE

Salary: £60,000 per annum.
