Summary

The Development Centre Tutor is a lead tutor role and provides focused sessions within an identified specialist area at Old Sarum, ensuring safe, person-centred and outcome-focused delivery. The postholder will deliver sessions within an identified specialist area such as creative activities, health and wellbeing, cookery, horticulture, pottery, woodwork, digital skills and employability, or other agreed areas of development centre provision. The role supports individuals to improve wellbeing, develop skills and progress into community participation, volunteering, placements and, where appropriate, paid work. The postholder plays a key role in implementing the 2026–27 Service Development Plan and supporting delivery against the agreed KPI scorecard.
