Summary
We are a small, established construction company based in Peterborough, and we are looking to expand our team with an experienced and reliable Plasterer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plastering and finishing works across residential, social housing and commercial properties. If you take pride in producing excellent finishes, work well independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plastering.
Apply a range of plastering finishes, including skimming, bonding, rendering and patch repairs.
Carry out repairs to damaged plasterwork, walls and ceilings.
Install plasterboard and undertake associated taping and jointing where required.
Apply internal and external render systems where required.
Ensure surfaces are level, smooth and finished to a high standard.
Carry out preparation work, including removing old plaster and preparing backgrounds for new finishes.
Work across occupied and void properties, maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and minimise disruption to clients and residents.
Work effectively with other trades and the wider project team to meet deadlines and client specifications.
Provide high-quality customer service when liaising with clients and residents on site.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used, stored and maintained safely and responsibly.
