Summary

Holistic Recruiters Ltd is a specialist health and social care provider committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred services that promote recovery, independence and wellbeing.

Working alongside NHS partners, Local Authorities and community organisations, we provide high-quality support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

About Crowlin Recovery House

Crowlin Recovery House is a 24-hour, short-term residential mental health crisis service providing a safe and therapeutic alternative to hospital admission.

The service supports adults experiencing emotional distress or mental health crisis, helping them stabilise, develop coping strategies, rebuild confidence and prepare to return safely to their homes and communities.

Meaningful activities are an important part of recovery. They provide structure, build confidence, reduce isolation and help individuals develop practical skills and positive routines.

Job Purpose

The Activities Coordinator will plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities designed to promote recovery, wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.

You will work closely with guests and the Recovery Team to develop activities that reflect individual interests, abilities and recovery goals.

The role will involve delivering both group and one-to-one activities, encouraging participation, developing community links and supporting guests to build skills and interests that can continue beyond their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of recovery-focused, therapeutic and wellbeing activities.

• Provide one-to-one and group activities that promote confidence, independence, self-esteem and social connection.

• Identify guests' interests, strengths and recovery goals and tailor activities to individual needs.

• Facilitate creative, educational, mindfulness, relaxation, social and life-skills sessions.

• Support guests to develop positive routines, coping strategies and activities they can continue after discharge.

• Promote inclusive, accessible, trauma-informed and person-centred participation.

• Develop links with community organisations, Recovery Colleges, charities, education, employment, arts and sports providers.

• Manage activity resources, equipment, stock and budgets effectively.

• Complete appropriate risk assessments and maintain a safe activity environment.

• Maintain accurate attendance, participation, progress and feedback records.

• Identify and report safeguarding concerns and follow health, safety and risk procedures.

• Work collaboratively with Recovery Practitioners, Peer Support Workers, managers, NHS teams and community partners.

• Contribute to Recovery Plans, Return-Home Plans and service evaluation.
