Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic CAMHS Practitioner qualified as a Clinical Psychologist / Mental Health Nurse / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist / Psychotherapist.

Joining our established Tier 3 CAMHS Treatment Team, you will work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, care coordination and therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families. The role offers opportunities to facilitate groups, develop specialist clinical skills, and contribute to innovative service delivery within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Undertake assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people with a range of mental health difficulties.

Hold a caseload and provide care coordination where required.

Work collaboratively with families, schools and partner agencies to support positive outcomes.

Deliver individual and group interventions as part of a multidisciplinary CAMHS team.

Contribute to risk assessment, safeguarding, and the ongoing development of the service.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust(SLaM) provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK as well as substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol.

SLaM employ around 5000 staff and serve a local population of 1.1 million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. Currently, provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
