Your new opportunity

Quarriers Mearns View is a supported living service based in Newton Mearns, Glasgow. We are currently recruiting a

full time Support Worker to work as a team supporting 4 individuals within their own home. The service is a home from home and provides 24 hour support to 4 men with a diagnosis of Autism and other additional support needs. Our aim is to ensure the men who live at Mearns View live a happy and healthy life filled with opportunities to fulfil their potential and aspirations. Our staff provide support with a range of activities from swimming, horse riding social events and also support with learning at college.

This is a full time (39 hours per week) post.

We may also offer weekend work on a relief basis.

Working pattern: Our service offers a 3 week rolling rota for staff, which allows for forward planning and a better work life balance. A full time post typically consists of 3 x 13 hour shifts on a rotation. Part time roles consist of 3 x 8 hour shifts or 2 x 12 hour shifts. We will consider individual requests depending if hours and pattern fits the service.

What you will need to bring to the role

Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.

Good IT & communication skills.

A full driving license for manual vehicles is required for full time roles
