Summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a children's residential home in Burton-upon-Trent. You will lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring children and young people receive safe, nurturing, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with Ofsted and Children's Home Regulations
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and supervise staff on shift
Conduct handovers, supervisions and support staff development
Support care planning, risk assessments and key working sessions
Promote safeguarding and maintain accurate records
Assist with rotas, medication administration and health & safety
Build positive relationships with young people, families and professionals
Support admissions, referrals and transitions into the home
Use therapeutic approaches and de-escalation techniques to manage behaviours positively
