Summary
We are recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join the team at Burton-upon-Trent. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people, helping them achieve positive outcomes while providing a safe, nurturing and stable home
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
Support daily routines including education, health, leisure activities and emotional wellbeing
Encourage positive behaviour through consistency, support and role modelling
Assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care and independent living skills
Maintain accurate records, reports and keyworker documentation
Support care planning, risk assessments and review meetings
Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of children at all times
Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques when required
Attend training, team meetings and supervision sessions
