Summary

We are looking for a caring, experienced, and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Coton Grange.

Coton Grange is a 27-bed residential care home in Wolverhampton (WV6), providing specialist care and support for older adults and people living with dementia. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, homely environment where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 20-30 hours per week - Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Rate of pay: Up to £13.68 per hour

• Shift times: 07:45-14:00, 14:00-20:45

• Location: Wolverhampton, WV6

• Required: Completed or working towards completion of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care

• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and involvement, where appropriate, in care reviews.

• Ensure the safe storage, documentation and administration of medication is carried out in accordance with guidelines and training.

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition

• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
