The post holders will play a key role in the delivery of high quality clinical services and will support a number of Clinical Service Units (CSUs) in the delivery of the Trust objectives, with a particular focus on achievement against the agreed CSU Delivery Contracts. This role requires individuals who are driven, ambitious and passionate about patient care, and who have a desire to influence at the highest levels working in close partnership with senior clinical and managerial staff. To succeed in this role, candidates need to be able to build confidence across the organisation and CSUs as well as with external partners. Why you should join our Team The successful applicant will be one of five Directors of Operations within the Trust. The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality clinical services, the Trust’s commitments and objectives. In addition, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to a defined portfolio of CSU’s, through the integrated accountability framework, reporting monthly to the executive Team, in the development of transformational plans. This role requires individuals who are driven, ambitious and passionate about patient care, and who have a desire to influence at the highest levels working in close partnership with senior clinical and managerial staff. We are seeing a visible leader with a recent track record of strong operational service delivery in a complex healthcare environment. You will have an open and transparent leadership style with extensive experience of delivering performance, improvement and service change. What you will bring to the role First degree or equivalent NHS management experience and evidence of practical application of expertise at this level. Experience of working at senior management level in large complex environment. Highly developed leadership and influencing skills with the ability to enthuse, motivate and involve individuals and teams and have them understand the Trust's and your performance expectations. Ability to lead the redesign of services to ensure they are delivered to the highest standard and are cost effective. Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure whilst supporting and getting the most out of staff.
