We're looking for an Inspection & Testing Electrical Engineer who will deliver Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and Fixed Wire Inspection & Testing across our client sites in Central London.
This role is vital in ensuring electrical safety, compliance, and operational excellence across complex commercial and industrial environments.
Role Responsibilities
-Carry out EICR inspections on commercial and industrial electrical installations
-Perform Fixed Wire (Periodic) Inspection & Testing in accordance with BS 7671
-Identify faults, defects, deviations, and non‑compliances within electrical systems
-Correctly code observations using C1, C2, C3, and FI classifications while maintaining clear and auditable testing records, schedules, and certification
-Work in strict compliance with BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and company procedures
Required Qualifications
-Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
-18th Edition BS 7671 qualification
-City & Guilds 2391‑52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
-Proven experience delivering EICRs and fixed wire testing
-Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, safety standards, and testing procedures
-Ability to produce clear, accurate, professional reports
-Full UK driving licence
-Full DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance
-UK passport holder
-Clear 10‑year UK footprint
