Summary

Legionella Risk AssessorLocation: London (Mobile)Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (aligned to capability, skills, experience and qualifications)

We're looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our specialist water compliance team, delivering high-quality risk assessments across a wide range of customer environments. You will use your technical expertise to help clients manage risk, maintain compliance, and create safer buildings for the people who use them.

Role Responsibilities

-Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments to the highest professional and industry standards across a varied client portfolio.

-Produce accurate reports, schematic drawings and compliance documentation using digital reporting systems.

-Provide practical recommendations and technical guidance to support clients in reducing risk and maintaining compliance.

-Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and technical expertise.

-Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance while supporting a strong culture of safety and compliance.

Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

-City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent recognised industry qualification).

-Proven experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments within the water hygiene, water treatment or compliance sector.

-Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

-Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01 guidance.

-Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical reports and schematic drawings.

-Strong IT skills, including experience using digital inspection and reporting systems.

-A customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
