Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £12.90 per hour thereafter
The Role
Westray Recruitment is looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives to support a busy operation during the Christmas period.
You will carefully pack finished products into boxes, ensuring they are secure, correctly labelled and ready to be shipped directly to customers. This is a hands-on role that involves standing at a workbench for most of the shift and helping to organise outgoing deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing finished goods safely and accurately into boxes
- Checking products before dispatch
- Ensuring orders are correctly packaged and labelled
- Organising outgoing deliveries
- Preparing completed orders for shipment to customers
- Handling products carefully to prevent damage
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workstation
- Following warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and committed
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is comfortable standing at a workbench throughout the shift
- Can work efficiently in a busy environment
- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Is organised and able to follow instructions
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has previous warehouse, packing or dispatch experience, although this is not essential

- Pay increase to £12.90 per hour after 12 weeks
