Summary

The post holder will be expected to provide on site leadership for capacity management, by prioritising the immediate issues and agreeing with clinical and non-clinical teams, the acceptable outcome for patients. To work with the Assistant Director of Operations and Resilience Management on the delivery of corporately agreed patient flow key performance indicators that in turn support a clinically safe outcome for users of our Trust, 24 hours per day. The post holder will be required to lead on issues/projects within the team/service in relation to the Trusts Quality agenda, local or national targets and ongoing developments with the team to drive efficiencies and best practice clinical care models. The post holder will be expected to liaise with internal and external colleagues in Health and Social and Voluntary Sector to agree best practice outlined in clinical pathways. The post holder will provide senior advice and direction to the Capacity Leads, Bed Management and discuss contingency plans when escalating to the Assistant DIrector of Operations and Resilience Management or an identified other in their absence.
