Duties

Install, repair, and inspect fire-rated doors and associated hardware in accordance with fire safety regulations and schematics

Conduct thorough assessments of existing fire door assemblies to identify deficiencies or compliance issues

Collaborate with project teams to develop detailed fabrication and installation plans based on technical drawings and schematics

Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to modify or create custom fire door solutions

Perform routine maintenance checks and testing of fire doors to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety standards

Document all installation processes, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately for compliance records

Coordinate with other construction trades such as masonry, plastering, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and construction painting to ensure seamless project execution
