Summary

Venables Oak is one of Shropshire’s leading timber merchants and bespoke joinery manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to join our skilled and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating a range of woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, four-sided planers and bandsaws.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.

• Carrying out routine machine maintenance.

• Ensuring the workshop remains clean, tidy and well organised.

• Working independently and using initiative, while also contributing to a busy, collaborative team.

• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
