Summary
We're currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join the dispatch team at a busy industrial bakery. This is a fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in ensuring fresh bakery products are accurately prepared and dispatched to customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and thrives in a busy warehouse environment.
The Role
Working within the dispatch department, your responsibilities will include:
• Picking and preparing bread products for dispatch
• Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Checking orders for accuracy before despatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet daily dispatch deadlines
• Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable being on your feet for long periods and carrying out manual handling duties
• Flexible to work weekdays and weekends as required
Long term ongoing role.
Operational Monday to Sunday
Average 3-4 shifts per week
10-12 hour shifts
Typical start time of 1:00pm, with finish times depending on production requirements
Weekend working will be required on a rota basis
£12.71 p/h basic
Overtime paid at time and a half
Weekly pay
28 days annual leave pro-rata
