Summary

DevOps Engineer - AWS, Automation & AI

£650 Per Day Inside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | London | Hybrid (3 Days Per Week Onsite)

Your new role A leading financial services organisation is seeking a mid to senior-level DevOps Engineer to join a new AI-focused technology programme. Working within a highly technical engineering environment, you'll help drive automation initiatives, develop CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure across AWS, private cloud and on-premise environments. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and platform engineering projects within a global organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within a large-scale enterprise environment

Strong hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development

Python scripting and automation expertise

Experience supporting AWS, private cloud and on-premise infrastructure

Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Ansible

Datadog monitoring and observability experience

Understanding of AI fundamentals with exposure to Copilot or similar AI technologies

Experience working alongside development teams using Java and C++

Oracle experience would be beneficial

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
