The business operates from a local Evesham site.The roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy transport operation in Evesham on a temporary, day-shift basis. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and professionally.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on planned delivery and collection routes• Operating curtainsider trailers safely and securely• Completing vehicle checks before and after each journey• Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately• Following road safety, transport and site procedures• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and site teams• Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence• Current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Practical experience using curtainsider trailers• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Good communication skills and a professional manner• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £17 to £18 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Temporary day-shift work in EveshamIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with curtainsider experience and are available for day work, apply today.
