We are working with a well-established Further Education College in London that is looking to appoint an experienced
Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join their Construction department on a long-term temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching to learners across a range of programmes while working within a supportive and well-equipped department.
About the Role
Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons across Level 1, 2 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery
Assess learner progress and provide ongoing support to help students achieve their full potential
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and assessments in line with curriculum requirements
Promote a safe and positive workshop and classroom environment
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery or a related trade
Previous on-site industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery
Experience delivering practical and theoretical training or teaching
A teaching qualification is desirable, although industry professionals looking to move into education are encouraged to apply
