Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College, on either a full time or a part time basis.You will support a proactive maintenance service which meets the needs of the college now and in the future, by being innovate in its approach to planned and reactive maintenance.Responsibilities of this role include:Responsible for general maintenance supporting all aspects of the estates departmentTo inspect repair where possible and report all defective equipment including safety equipmentTo be a key member of the response team to security issue which may arise on the estateTo ensure Maintenance issue meet all college KPI’s and SLA’sWhat we are looking for:Experience in general maintenance or other trade skillsProven experience of co-ordinating a range of tasks and activitiesProven and extensive experience of working in maintenance or a construction tradeWorking 37.5 hours per week for the full time position over 5 days. Working hours are from 05.45am to 13.45pm and 13.45pm to 21.45pm Monday to Friday on alternate weeks. The shifts are rotated between the team, hours will be further discussed at interview. Whilst your main days of work will be Monday-Friday, some flexibility will be needed as you will be required to work an occasional Saturday or Sunday to cover events such as open days.Loughborough College Group is formed of Brooksby College, Loughborough College, Stephenson College and IGNITE Performing Arts.
