Summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Research Practitioner at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, supported through the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), to work on the Imperial Health Knowledge Bank (IHKB) and BRC NIHR BioResource projects. 

IHKB is designed to become a rich and comprehensive resource of biosamples and longitudinal clinical data, and to offer our patients an opportunity to participate in clinical research.  

The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, a confident and flexible attitude with the ability to work autonomously. 

Experience of working in research within an NHS setting is desirable but not essential for this role, povided the candidates can display a strong passion to work in clinical research.

You will support the aims of the Trust and the NIHR clinical research network to improve the speed, quality, and integration of clinical research, through the successful delivery of clinical research in the NHS.

You will support the co-ordination of Imperial Health Knowledge Bank (IHKB) and NIHR BioResource, collaborating with key personnel throughout the trust and clinical research network.

The main focus of the role will be in supporting identification of suitable participants, recruitment and maintenance of study documentation on our unique data platforms.

The post holder will ensure that any research undertaken safeguards the well-being of research participants and is conducted to ICH Good Clinical Practice.
