Summary

Are you an experienced Registered Midwife with an interest Fetal Medicine.

If so, we have a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Fetal Medicine Operational Network  as the Regional Lead Midwife .

The post holder will be the strategic and midwifery lead for the regional  Operational Network (ODN) - specialising in Fetal Medicine .

Through strong leadership and effective management, the Lead Midwife for the FMU ODN will promote and deliver excellence while maintaining and continually improving clinical standards.

The clinical networks bring stakeholders together – providers, commissioners and patients –tocreateanalignmentaroundprogrammesoftransformationalworkthatwillimprove care for those families needing to access Fetal Medicine Units.

Th post holder will support the FM ODN to providetheclinicalexpertiseandleadershiptodrivecommissioning decision-making, measure and benchmark quality and outcomes, and share best practice and innovation.In this way, the networks:

• Improvequalityoutcomes.

• Advancethedeliveryofservices

• Reduceunacceptablevariationsincare

• Actaschampionsforpatientsandtheirinterests andinvolvethepublicand patients in policy-development and decision-making.
