Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected secondary school in the Leeds Bradford area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant or someone with a strong interest in supporting young people within an education setting.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and students to provide tailored support, encourage positive learning behaviours, and help pupils overcome barriers to their education.

Your Responsibilities

    • Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4

    • Providing one-to-one and small-group support

    • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs

    • Assisting students with classroom tasks and activities

    • Working alongside teachers to adapt learning and provide appropriate support

    • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence

    • Helping students overcome barriers to learning

    • Building positive and professional relationships with pupils

    • Monitoring and reporting on student progress where required

    Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to helping students reach their full potential.

    You will be:

      • Experienced in or passionate about working with young people

      • A confident and effective communicator

      • Patient, empathetic, and approachable

      • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic

      • Able to build positive relationships with students

      • Comfortable working as part of a wider school team

      • Committed to supporting students' academic and personal development

      Previous experience working within a school, college, SEN, youth work, or support environment would be advantageous.
