TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming private day nurseries across Leeds. These settings provide nurturing, child-centred environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, explore their surroundings and develop confidence from an early age.
We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work on a part-time basis from September, supporting children across a range of age groups. This role is ideal for students seeking flexible work while gaining hands-on experience within Early Years settings, assisting with daily routines, activities and ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school or childcare setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A caring, positive and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and reliability
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
- Market leading rates of pay
