WAREHOUSEMAN JOB
Electric City is a leading Lighting Design and Electrical Wholesaler established 37 years ago based in Harrow, Middlesex. Our business deals with both, private and trade customers and we are currently recruiting for a Warehouseman.
ABOUT THE JOB
• Job Type: Full-time,
• Salary: Competitive – DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
• Language: English (fluent)
• Experience: 1 year (Essential)
ABOUT YOU
• Minimum 1 year experience of working in a Warehouse environment (ESSENTIAL)
• Good understanding of written and spoken English (ESSENTIAL)
• Basic mathematical skills (ESSENTIAL)
• Ability to manage time and resources to ensure adherence to multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail and work accuracy.
• You will need to be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives and dealing with Trade and the Public
JOB DUTIES:
• A lot of manual heavy lifting of products by hand in the warehouse
You are responsible for:
• Loading and Unloading suppliers/customers and delivery vehicles by hand
• Checking goods in
• Picking Orders
• Handling stock
• Shelf tidying
• General care of warehouse: keeping the warehouse clean and organised
• Contribute to performance and productivity targets set for staff
• Remain focused under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
SCHEDULE:
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
