Having reliable transport will be important for commuting to the property and supporting the family when required. The housekeeper cook will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the household by providing high-quality housekeeping support and preparing family meals. The role requires a flexible and pro-active professional who can independently manage household routines while maintaining a safe environment for children, particularly considering the family’s allergy requirements. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook: Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the four-bedroom family home to a high standard. Completing daily housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Managing laundry duties, including washing, folding, and caring for household linens. Washing and changing bed linens, ensuring bedrooms are presented to an excellent standard. Making beds and maintaining a comfortable and organised home environment. Preparing healthy and suitable meals for the family according to their preferences and dietary requirements. Taking extra care with food preparation due to the child’s allergies and ensuring that ingredients and cooking processes are handled safely. Supporting the family with occasional entertaining, including preparing meals when relatives visit. Running household errands using a personal vehicle. Occasionally assisting with school pick-ups for the children. Maintaining a friendly and positive relationship with the children.
