Summary

Sunderland Council are looking to recruit to a fixed term (23 months) Caseworker position within the Financial Safeguarding Team.andnbsp;

The Financial Safeguarding Team manage customers day to day finances under appointeeship/Court of Protection deputyship.

The team have responsibility for managing customer property, including carrying out protection of property visits.

The team have responsibility for arranging Public Health Funerals.andnbsp;

This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
