Duties of the Service Advisor:

- Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle service requirements

- Providing accurate, clear advice on service work and costs

- Preparing and managing job cards and service schedules

- Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships

- Upselling additional services and products where appropriate

- Communicating effectively with workshop staff to facilitate timely repairs

- Maintaining accurate documentation and service records

- Supporting the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks

- Knowledge of automotive systems and service processes

- Strong organisational skills and professional approach

- Full UK driving licence

- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not essential
