About the role
As the Senior Project Officer your manager will be our Energy Project Manager. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.
As the Senior Project Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering Vico Homes’s capital investment programme, ensuring capital, retrofit and Sustainability projects are fully prepared for our principal contractor to commence works. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll coordinate all necessary information and requirements, enabling the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and to agreed standards of quality and specification, helping to enhance homes and communities across our operating area.

What you’ll do
*Lead the successful mobilisation and delivery of major investment projects, ensuring everything is in place for contractors to start on site and projects progress smoothly from planning through to completion.
*Act as Vico Homes’s representative, working closely with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to deliver high-quality improvements that provide excellent value for money and put our customers first.
*Oversee project performance, budgets and risk, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
*Build strong relationships across the business and supply chain, coordinating information, managing contracts and driving collaboration to achieve successful project outcomes.
*Drive continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency and support the long-term success of Vico Homes’s Capital Investment Programme.
