Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research nurse to join the Barts BioResource as a Band 6 Research Nurse. You will lead day‑to‑day BioResource activity in embedded clinical areas, providing advanced expertise in screening, informed consent, sample handling and research governance. Working closely with the BBR Team Lead, you will support the training and supervision of BBR nurses and technicians, troubleshoot operational issues and help optimise recruitment workflows. You will ensure high standards of documentation, data integrity and participant safety while contributing to the delivery of nationally significant research studies across Barts Health and QMUL.
In this role you will lead day‑to‑day BioResource activity within embedded clinical areas, providing advanced expertise in participant screening, informed consent and sample handling. You will supervise and support BBR nurses and technicians, helping them build confidence and competence in BioResource processes. You will maintain excellent standards of documentation, governance and data quality and contribute to workflow design and problem‑solving across clinical teams. Working
closely with the BBR Team Lead, you will help ensure safe, compassionate and high‑quality research delivery across Barts Health.
