Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to join the Pennine Inpatients. Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are seeking caring, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our dynamic inpatient mental health team.

The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to support the other wards on the unit. They will play a key role in supporting service users with a range of mental health conditions, helping them in heir recovery journey within a safe and therapeutic inpatient environment.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) the post holder will work as an integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), working within a rotational shift system to support patients according to their care needs, some of whom may present with complex and challenging mental health needs. The post holder will be required to use their initiative when working on the wards/136 suite to implement person centred plans of care and are expected to report any clinical progress or change to the Nurse in Charge. The post holder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct/indirect service user care and support service users under the supervision of a RN.
