Summary

Are you a talented chef looking for a fresh opportunity in a friendly, food-led country pub?

This charming country pub is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join its kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a local chef who enjoys preparing quality food, working with fresh ingredients and being part of a supportive team.

Located in the Warwickshire countryside, the pub is within driving distance of Shipston-on-Stour, Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Hook Norton and the surrounding villages.

The role

-Working alongside the senior kitchen team, you will:

-Prepare and cook consistently high-quality dishes

-Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen

-Help maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards

-Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste

-Support and encourage junior members of the team

-Help deliver a smooth service during busy periods

-Contribute ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes

Important location information

This is in a rural location with very limited public transport. A driving licence and reliable access to your own transport are essential.

There is no live-in accommodation with this position, so the role will best suit someone living within a comfortable driving distance of Shipston on Stour and the surrounding villages.
