Summary

This role would suit an individual with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality healthcare through strong information governance practices. Join us and help deliver exceptional care together by ensuring information is protected, used responsibly, and enables better outcomes for patients, staff and our communities Degree or equivalent professional qualification, or significant equivalent experience in Information Governance, Data Protection, Information Management or a related field. Specialist Information Governance or Data Protection qualification, or willingness to work towards one (e.g. ISEB/BCS Data Protection, GDPR Practitioner or equivalent). Demonstrable experience of Information Governance, Data Protection and confidentiality within an NHS or public sector environment. Good knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Freedom of Information legislation and NHS Information Governance requirements. Experience of undertaking DPIAs, compliance assessments, policy development and delivering advice to a range of stakeholders. Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
