Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Advisor.

Working as an Accommodation Advisor, you will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, being able to meet stringent KPI’s. Working in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service, you will work with a caseload of adult males in custody and on probation in the community to provide advice and support for their housing needs.

You’ll carry out initial assessments to understand individual needs and agree a tailored action plan. This could be providing support to sustain or end a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice and liaison with other key agencies. You’ll provide support face to face with individuals and groups.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post, and you will undergo additional enhanced vetting as part of the requirement to work within prisons and with probation.

Please note that this post requires either a full driving licence and use of a vehicle or having means of transport to travel across Leicestershire.
