Location: Kniveton, Ashbourne, DE6 1JF
Pay Rate: £17.69 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (7:00am start)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our client's team based in Kniveton, Ashbourne.
This is a full-time role where you will safely and efficiently operate a skip vehicle, transporting waste materials to and from customer sites while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
. Safely operate an HGV Class 2 skip vehicle for waste collection and delivery
. Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity
. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
. Load, transport and deliver waste materials in line with company procedures
. Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
. Ensure customer sites are left clean and tidy
. Comply with all Health & Safety, Driver Hours and road traffic regulations
. Wear PPE and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
