TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of friendly and welcoming mainstream primary schools across Cardiff. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to gain further experience with children while making a positive contribution to their education and school day.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible, part-time basis around university or study commitments. As a Teaching Assistant, you could be helping teachers with day-to-day classroom activities, supporting pupils with their learning and providing 1-1 support with areas such as reading when required.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with, teaching or supporting children
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
- Confidence working with pupils individually and within the classroom
- A warm, patient and approachable manner
- Flexibility to work around studies while supporting different schools
- A positive attitude and willingness to get involved with classroom activities
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
