Hours: 37 hours per week

Length of Contract: 3 months

Location: London

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager – Lift to oversee the effective management and performance of lift maintenance and related service contracts. The role will provide professional technical support, ensure statutory compliance, manage contractors and contribute to planned maintenance and lift replacement programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically experienced lift contracts professional to take responsibility for a varied portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage lift maintenance, servicing and repair contracts, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance.

Monitor contractor performance through regular reviews, KPIs, action plans and service improvement programmes.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including LOLER and PUWER.

Oversee LOLER inspection programmes, certification, defect close-out and associated records.

Support the development and delivery of planned preventative maintenance and lift replacement programmes.

Assist with tendering, specifications, procurement and contract implementation.

Produce condition surveys, technical reports and statistical information.

Manage budgets, expenditure, invoices and service agreements.

Liaise effectively with tenants, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Keep up to date with legislative and technical changes and ensure services are adapted accordingly.

Essential Experience & Skills

Relevant experience in contract management, particularly lift maintenance.

Experience working within a Social Housing environment.

Proven track record in service contract management and administration.

Strong knowledge of specifications and lift-related legislation, including LOLER and PUWER.

Experience producing condition surveys and reports.

Understanding of Section 20 / Commonhold & Leasehold legislation in relation to M&E services and contracts.

Experience with tenant liaison and managing consultants and external service providers.

Experience administering contracts, schedules, specifications and invoices.

Ability to manage budgets, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

Good Microsoft Office skills and experience using databases to record and extract data, such as Keystone, Civica, W2 or similar.
