Duties of a MOT Technician :

- Perform routine servicing and complex mechanical repairs, including clutches, gearboxes, and timing belts

- Conduct MOT testing (if qualified) and ensure vehicles meet safety standards

- Manage multiple workloads across two bays, maintaining efficiency and quality

- Deliver excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients

- Ensure high standards of repair accuracy and vehicle safety compliance

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety procedures

Requirements of a MOT Technician :

- Skilled and qualified mechanic with relevant certifications

- Proven experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics

- MOT tester certification would be advantageous

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and customer communication

- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
