Summary
Job Overview Continued- The senior staff nurse role supports the Triage Hub team leader with the daily service coordination and delivery; and is pivotal in the communication within the team. The senior Triage nurse is also responsible for providing expert clinical support and guidance to other members of the Triage Team, and those accessing the service. You will be expected to deputise in the absence of the team leader. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of health needs, prevention of hospital admissions and facilitate early discharges from hospital. The current hours of work are Monday to Friday however these will alter to a 7 day per week service, 08:00 20:00 as the service expands.
