A recipe for success
Sodexo is looking for a motivated
Commis Chef to join our catering team at Rathdown School.
Working alongside the Chef Manager and wider kitchen team, you’ll support the preparation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with the
- Support the delivery of menus in line with Sodexo guidelines and customer requirements
- Maintain high standards of
- Support effective stock control, storage and food cost management
- Serve customers professionally and provide a welcoming service
- Support the team with
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support new team members where required
- Attend relevant training and follow all Sodexo and client procedures
preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the required standards
food safety, hygiene and health & safety
functions and events when required
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a
- A relevant culinary qualification is desirable
- A genuine interest in food and willingness to develop your skills
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety and allergen requirements
- Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation
- Good organisation and communication skills
- A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach
