Veterinary Surgeon to join its six-vet team. Both full and part-time applications are welcomed, with the role offering flexibility to suit the successful candidate's interests and career goals.
The practice operates across a hospital and recently refurbished branch, with a wide range of clinical expertise within the team. Out-of-hours, weekends and bank holidays are covered by Vets Now, while overnight care is provided at the main hospital, allowing in-patients to remain in familiar surroundings.
The ideal candidate will be a confident Veterinary Surgeon who can work independently across
small animal medicine and surgery and is comfortable managing cases without requiring regular clinical support.
Clinical Interests & Facilities
The role can be tailored around the successful candidate's strengths and interests. Those with a passion for
surgery can develop their skills through a varied caseload, including laparoscopic and orthopaedic procedures.
For Veterinary Surgeons interested in
medicine and diagnostics, the practice has excellent in-house facilities, including Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy and i-STAT, enabling the team to investigate the majority of cases in-house.
Dedicated hospital shifts combine inpatient care and emergency cases alongside regular consulting and operating days. Those who enjoy a varied caseload can benefit from a rota designed around individual interests.
