Role Overview

An NHS Trust is urgently seeking experienced and dedicated Locum SHO Doctors to join various departments including ENT, General Surgery, General Medicine, Psychiatry, and Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O). Successful candidates will support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care within busy NHS hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate, and manage patients under consultant supervision.

• Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call rotas as required.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

• Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Adhere to GMC and NHS clinical governance standards.

• Deliver safe, patient-centred care at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (valid and in date).

• Minimum 6 months' NHS clinical experience at SHO level or above.

• Experience in one or more of the following specialties:

o ENT

o General Surgery

o General Medicine

o Psychiatry

o Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O)

• Excellent communication and clinical skills.

• Valid Right to Work in the UK without restrictions.

• Available to start ASAP.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous NHS locum experience.

• Recent experience within the relevant specialty.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
