Summary

Our client based in Watford is currently recruiting for a Experienced CNC Setter / Operator to work on Doosan, Citizen and Star machines, producing components for various applications. Full Time role available for the right candidate.

CNC Setter / Operator Main duties will include:

· Set both Sliding and Fixed Head lathes for precision batch production.

· Read, interpret and work to engineering drawings and specifications.

· Perform first-off inspections and quality checks to ensure component accuracy.

· Work on prototype and repeat batch work in line with production schedules.

· Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot, improve and maintain machine performance.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health & safety guidelines.

CNC Setter / Operator Experience Required:

Ability to work to tight tolerances with various metals.

Capable of reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Must come from engineering background

Setting & Programming CNC Lathes

CNC Setter / Operator Shift:

Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm

Friday 8am to 13pm

CNC Setter / Operator Pay Rate:

£35k per annum depending on experience
