About the Role:

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to support with our service user who enjoys listening to music and stories and going on walks. You will be supporting a service user living with multiple physical and neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Learning disabilities requiring full assistance with daily care, comfort, and safety. The individual has limited mobility, complex communication needs, and requires consistent, attentive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full personal care and catheter care
  • Supporting with safe feeding procedures (non-oral feeding)
  • Monitoring and responding to seizure activity
  • Ensuring correct positioning for comfort, breathing, and posture
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers (training provided where necessary)
  • Observing and responding to health changes or distress
  • Supporting with communication needs using a patient, calm approach
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reports

Requirements for the Role:

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience is desirable but
  • not essential. We welcome carers with no experience and will provide full, comprehensive training.

  • Complex Care experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • To provide the correct compliance documents, including updated Right to Work
