Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and caring Senior Support Worker to join our committed team in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. Our service supports people with learning disabilities and mental health needs to achieve greater independence and lead fulfilling lives.

Senior Support Worker Duties:

• Supervising, managing and mentoring a team of staff

• Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users

• Supporting the team leader to manage multi-agency working to ensure consistency and a coordinated service support is provided to all

• Enabling service users to gain independence, confidence and competence in areas, such as social skills/relationships, personal care & hygiene, daily living, and other domestic tasks

• Supporting service users with the activities they enjoy in and around the Norton area

This position will enable you become involved in the delivery of a high-quality service; giving real job satisfaction while utilising your experience in a senior position. You will have excellent line management support and development from the Non-Registered Service Manager.
