Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Site Fitter to join our fabrication installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structures on-site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and installation and related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Install and fit for various architectural structural, including both steel and glass fabrications, according to project specifications and schematics.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively.

Perform welding, masonry, carpentry, plastering, fabrication, and construction painting tasks as required.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.

Assist with the fabrication of components on-site as needed.

Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in related fabrication installation, along with welding skills.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in site fitting roles.

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate must hold a CSCS card due to the role being site based.

A driving license as the role will offer a works vehicle.

Additionally not essential although a plus is holding a IPAF and PASMA card.
