Salary: £100 - £110 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with numerous specialist SEND setting in Leeds that supports children and young people with complex needs. The setting is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils can develop their confidence, independence and individual abilities.
The setting is looking to take on a SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant for short-term or long-term work from September. The successful SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant will support pupils with complex needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide individualised support and help pupils engage positively with their learning and development.
The successful SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs
- Experience working within a SEND or specialist education setting
- A patient, resilient and supportive approach
- The ability to adapt support to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
- Market leading rates of pay
