Night Porter – Keep Things Running Smoothly Overnight with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

As a Night Porter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the night. You’ll be the point of contact for late arrivals and early departures, while keeping the property secure and presentable.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, organised, and enjoys working independently.
Where You’ll Be Working
The Royal Albion is an historic seafront hotel situated in the heart of Broadstairs, Kent. Dating back to 1760, the Shepherd Neame hotel has 20 elegant and spacious bedrooms and boasts a commanding position on the clifftop overlooking Viking Bay. Our guests can dine in our popular Ballard’s Coffee Lounge or our main bar and restaurant areas.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist guests during late check-ins and early check-outs.
- Monitor the premises to ensure safety and security throughout the night.
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain high standards.
- Prepare areas for the next day’s service and assist with early breakfast set-up.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
